Rectangular frame «Rocale» (model 6276) STL

The rectangular frame «Rocaille» (model 6276) is executed in the Rococo style and features a complex profile with a multi-level relief. The ornamental composition is based on asymmetric volutes, cartouches, rocaille motifs, and stylized acanthus leaves, forming a continuous rhythmic pattern along the baguette perimeter. The upper and lower sections are emphasized by symmetrical accents dominated by shell motifs and floral shoots. Historically, Rococo frames became widespread in France during the Regency and the reign of Louis XV, when mirrors became a key interior element of state rooms and salon architecture, frequently mounted above fireplaces and integrated into wooden wall panels (boiseries). The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
