Rectangular frame «Rococo» (model 6170) STL

The rectangular 3D model of the «Rococo» frame (Model 6170) is a picture frame structure featuring asymmetrical ornamentation characteristic of the French rocaille aesthetics of the first half of the 18th century. The composition is built on a combination of dynamic scrolls, rocailleurs, and stylized acanthus leaves forming a relief profile. The top center (crest) features a central cartouche with diverging S- and C-scrolls and floral shoots, while a similar motif is symmetrically mirrored at the bottom of the frame, and the lateral sides are decorated with applied palmettes and acanthus foliage. Historically, Rococo frames became widespread during the reign of Louis XV when woodcarvers actively began employing asymmetrical motifs imitating seashells and foaming waves, which visually dissolved rigid interior boundaries and seamlessly integrated mirrors into the overall stuccowork of boiserie wall panels.
