Rectangular frame «Rococo» (model 6187) STL

The rectangular frame is designed in the Rococo style utilizing characteristic ornamental elements. The composition is based on a wide profiled molding, with corners and central sections of the sides emphasized by scroll-work volutes and asymmetrical rocaille motifs. The profile features fluting interspersed with relief floral elements and circular medallions on the lateral members. Historically, mirrors and paintings in Rococo frames became widespread in French interiors during the reign of Louis XV, where they were mounted onto boiserie wall panels, visually expanding the space of salons and boudoirs through complex asymmetrical gilded carving that concealed the joints between the frame and the wall. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
