Rectangular frame "Two Leo" (model 6099) STL

The rectangular frame model 6099 features a complex architectural structure with developed symmetrical ornament and a pronounced central crest. The frame profile is decorated with floral motifs, volutes, rocaille elements, acanthus leaves, and corner shell cartouches. The upper section (crest) is elaborated with a heraldic composition including figures of two heraldic lions supporting a central medallion beneath a crown, accompanied by ribbon ornamentation. The lower section features a mascaron surrounded by acanthus foliage and scrolls. In the history of European interior decor, the motif of lions and heraldic shields within ceremonial frame crests gained widespread use during the Baroque and Classicism eras, symbolizing the status, power, and monarchical allegories of the residence owner.
