Square frame «Rustic» (model 6260) STL

The square frame of model 6260 features a strict geometric configuration assembled from massive profiled bars that imitate roughly processed timber with a natural texture. The corner joints are executed as open protruding beam ends with dowels and decorative elements in the form of fastening rope knots. The upper and lower sections lack classical heraldic or floral ornaments such as acanthus leaves or volutes, as the style gravitates towards utilitarian architectural forms of early wooden architecture and handmade furniture. Historically, rustic-style framing and imitations of log structures gained prominence during the Romantic period and the Arts and Crafts movement in the second half of the 19th century, when interior design saw a surge of interest in folk crafts and deliberately rough material processing. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
