The rectangular “trophies” frame (model 6086) STL

The rectangular frame “Trophies” (model 6086) features a rectangular geometry with a profile imitating rustic tree trunks. The ornamental structure is built on naturalistic hunting motifs: along the perimeter and sides of the frame, relief images of hunting trophies including a hare, a partridge, and a rifle are suspended by ribbons, complemented by oak branches and foliage. In 17th- and 18th-century European decorative arts, the motif of hunting trophies (nature morte de chasse) became widespread during the Baroque and Rococo periods, when the dining rooms, studies, and hunting lodges of noble residences were adorned with carved wooden panels and frames symbolizing successful pursuits and the owner's status.
