The rectangular "Upper Pattern" (model 6142) STL

The rectangular frame model 6142 features a vertical orientation and an asymmetric distribution of decorative elements concentrated primarily in the upper section. The upper crest (cartouche) is adorned with developed floral ornamentation, including stylized volutes, acanthus leaves, rosettes, and a central cartouche crowned with a geometric diamond-shaped element. The side and lower profiles consist of smooth moldings with concise corner rosettes at the base. In the history of framing, asymmetric cartouches and floral crests gained widespread prominence during the Rococo era (first half of the 18th century), when craftsmen in French châteaux actively utilized carved wooden frames to accentuate mirrors above fireplaces, thereby visually expanding the space of formal reception rooms.
