Bas-relief "Bogatyr with his horse" (Model 5605) STL

The foreground of the bas-relief «Bogatyr with his horse» features a full-length figure of an Old Russian warrior with a mace attached to his hand. In the background, a massive warhorse with a detailed mane is depicted, while the composition is framed by corner floral ornaments and inscriptions reading «С днем защитника отечества!» and «23 февраля». In Slavic epic poetry, a heroic horse possessed not only giant strength and the ability to fly, but also acted as the hero's prophetic advisor sharing his martial destiny.
