Bas-relief "Church" (Model 5170) STL

The composition of the bas-relief «Church» (Model 5170) is an architectural depiction of an Orthodox church with several bell towers and domes, executed in a multi-planar relief technique. The foreground features arched openings and entrance portals, forming spatial depth through protruding masonry elements. The background and secondary plane are defined by the central high tented dome and adjacent building volumes without the use of a framing baguette. In Christian architecture, the tradition of crowning churches with tented or onion domes originates from the symbolism of a candle reaching toward the sky and spiritual light.
