Bas -relief "Jester and Girls" (Model 5366) STL

The central composition of the bas-relief features a jester's mask crowned with a fool's cap, flanked by symmetrical figures of two female characters in the middle ground. The background and perimeter are filled with a complex baroque floral ornament, including acanthus scrolls and stylized rocaille shell elements, while a strict frame or baguette is absent. In cultural studies, the figure of the jester traditionally acts as an ambivalent symbol, combining the functions of social criticism and carnival freedom.
