"Captain John Silver (Model 2011) STL

The foreground of the relief depicts a one-eyed pirate with a mug of ale and a parrot on his shoulder, seated at a table with a map, a spyglass, a pistol, and coins. The background features figures of sailors and a sailing ship against a seascape. The composition is enclosed within a massive ornamental frame composed of floral scrolls and acanthus leaves. Historically, pirates wore eye patches not because of a missing eye, but to quickly adapt their vision when moving from bright sunlight on deck into the dark hold. Suitable for decorating studies, living rooms, libraries, and themed halls.
