Oval panel "Girl and Lira" (Model 5047) STL

The oval panel is a multi-figure relief without an external frame, inscribed in an arched contour. In the foreground, the central figure of an ancient Greek woman holding a lyre and resting her foot on an elevation dominates, while the figure of a winged putto with a bow is positioned to her right. In the middle ground on the left, the silhouette of an old man with a jug is depicted, symbolizing a river deity, and the background is formed by a relief image of a tree and floral ornamentation. In ancient Greek mythology, the lyre was traditionally considered the instrument of Apollo or Hermes and was used to accompany epic and lyrical poetry.
