Panel "Bouquet of Flowers" (Model 5362) STL

The foreground of the relief features a compact bouquet of several flowers and leaves, projecting above the smooth background plane. The composition is enclosed within a vertical oval frame with an ornamental frieze and a decorative shell-shaped crest (rocaille). The objects are distributed with regard to natural volume, forming a multi-level relief within the given contour. In the history of European art, floral still lifes and depictions of bouquets were often used not only as decorative elements, but also as allegories of the transience of life and the changing of the seasons. Suitable for decorating residential interiors, studies, and living rooms.
