Panel "Grandfather in the bath" (Model 5524) STL

In the foreground of the relief, an elderly bearded man is depicted sitting in a bath basin and holding his foot, while a bundle of birch broom twigs is positioned at the base of the composition. The middle ground consists of a log wall serving as a backdrop and an arched contour framing the figure. Along the perimeter of the rectangular frame, the text «Кто в бане парится, тот никогда не старится» is integrated. Culturally, the bathhouse ritual among East Slavs was historically perceived not only as a hygienic procedure but also as a sacred space of purification inhabited, according to folklore, by the bannik, the spirit guardian of the bathhouse. Suitable for interior decoration of residential spaces, bathhouses, saunas, and thematic halls.
