Panel "Hero on horseback" (Model 5509) STL

The composition of the relief is built on a multi-planar principle: the foreground depicts an epic hero on horseback, the middle ground features vegetation elements and a hilly terrain, and the background forms a textured backdrop with a cloudy sky. The scene is enclosed in a rectangular frame with a symmetrical baroque ornament, the corners and center of which are accented with floral cartouches. In East Slavic epic tradition, the image of the mounted hero traditionally acts as a symbol of border guards protecting state frontiers from external threats.
