In the foreground of the relief, a half-length figure of Lisa Gherardini with crossed hands is positioned as the central compositional element. In the background of the relief, a mountain landscape with structured rock formations and a body of water is rendered. The entire composition is enclosed within a massive rectangular frame-baguette, decorated along the perimeter with a classical floral ornament in the form of stylized acanthus leaves and volutes.
