The panel «River in the forest» is a multi-planar relief enclosed in a profiled rectangular frame with floral ornamentation in the corners. The foreground details the channel of a small river with boulders protruding from the water, the middle ground is occupied by a dense forest array of vertically elaborated tree trunks, and the silhouettes of bears are discernible in the background. Brown bears are capable of reaching speeds up to 50 kilometers per hour despite their massive physique, allowing them to move efficiently through rugged forest terrain. The relief is used for decorating home interiors, studies, living rooms, and libraries.
