Panel "St. Isaac's Cathedral" (Model 5258) STL

The composition of the relief focuses on the depiction of St. Isaac's Cathedral, whose central volume with a massive dome and colonnade dominates the spatial arrangement of the relief. The foreground features elements of vegetation and a relief ground surface framing the base of the building, while the flat background with contour clouds forms the background plane. The entire scene is enclosed within a strict rectangular frame featuring a geometric wicker ornament. The construction of this cathedral, designed by Auguste de Montferrand, spanned forty years from 1818 to 1858. The panel is suitable for the decoration of studies, living rooms, libraries, and thematic halls.
