The composition of the rectangular panel is built on the diagonal movement of Thor's chariot, pulled by two goats occupying the foreground and middle ground of the relief. The background features a forest and rocky terrain, while the entire scene is framed by a strict geometric molding with a meander ornament and corner rosettes. According to Norse mythology, Thor's goats were named Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr, meaning 'Tooth-barer' and 'Tooth-grinder', and the god could slaughter them for food and resurrect them with his hammer as long as their bones remained unbroken. Suitable for the decoration of studies, libraries, and thematic interiors.
