Panel "Warrior legionnaire" (Model 5478) STL

The foreground of the relief depicts a figure of a Roman legionary in armor, holding a round shield in his left hand and a short gladius sword in his right. The middle background features masonry and the contours of an ancient amphitheater, while the composition is framed by an elaborate barocco-style floral relief border. Historically, the gladius was the standard close-combat thrusting sword used by legionnaires during the late Republic and early Empire. The panel is suitable for the decoration of offices, libraries, historical and themed interiors.
