The relief composition depicts a vertically elongated bouquet of wildflowers and berries placed inside a tall woven basket. The foreground features detailed textural elements of the basket's weave and hanging clusters of berries, while the middle and background are formed by a dense array of inflorescences and leaves with varying depths of layering. A distinct frame or border is absent, as the contour of the panel follows the outline of the object itself. In European and Russian traditions, depictions of flower baskets in decorative and applied arts long served as an allegory for fertility and abundance.
