The foreground of the relief depicts a seated elderly man reaching out to a semi-nude female figure hovering in the air above him. The middle ground is filled with classical architectural elements and landscape features, while the background shows an open space with buildings. The composition is structured as a frameless panel where the figures interact through a diagonal spatial division of the relief.
