Icon "Lord Almighty" (Model 783) STL

The icon of «Lord Almighty» (Pantokrator) is a central image in Orthodox iconography, symbolizing Christ as the Heavenly King and Judge. This iconographic type developed in the early centuries of Christianity and became widespread in Byzantium. The Savior is depicted waist-high, blessing with His right hand and holding an open Gospel with His left. Believers traditionally offer prayers before this image for spiritual strength, strengthening of faith, healing from illnesses, as well as thanksgiving and protection for their families.
