Icon "Theodore Ushakov" (Model 734) STL

The icon depicts the Righteous Warrior Feodor Ushakov, an outstanding Russian naval commander of the 18th and 19th centuries who never lost a single battle and was canonized as a saint in 2001. The Admiral entered history not only as a brilliant strategist, but also as a deeply pious man who considered prayer the foundation of military valor and showed great mercy to prisoners and civilians. In the Orthodox tradition, prayers before this image are offered for the defense of the Motherland, the granting of steadfastness in trials, the strengthening of the spirit, and the protection of servicemen and sailors.
