Icon "Triptych" (Model 776) STL

The architectural form of the triptych traces back to the Byzantine tradition of folding altarpieces, which became widespread in medieval Christian art. This composition unites three central images of Orthodox theology and veneration: Christ Pantocrator occupies the center, the Theotokos with the Christ Child (of the Hodegetria type) is depicted on the left, and Saint Nicholas of Myra, one of the most revered Christian saints of the 4th century, is on the right. The tradition of combining these holy figures formed an established intercessory and prayerful order, addressed with petitions for spiritual guidance, intercession in worldly hardships, healing of ailments, and protection of the family.

This digital 3D model is designed for producing relief icons on CNC machines. The STL file contains a meticulously detailed bas-relief intended for layer-by-layer wood milling using specialized software. The geometry of the product is optimized for the cutting tool while preserving canonical proportions and fine elements of carved ornamentation.
