Icon "Valaam Virgin" (Model 817) STL

This image belongs to the Hodegetria iconographic type, depicting the Virgin Mary full-length, supporting the Christ Child who stands upon a cloud. A distinctive feature of this iconography is the serene, monumental countenance of the Mother of God and her majestic posture. Believers traditionally offer prayers before this shrine for spiritual comfort, healing from physical ailments, protection during journeys, and the strengthening of faith through life's trials.
