Kioc (Model 900) STL

A kiot is a traditional protective case or frame for an icon, widely used in the church and domestic architecture of Byzantium and Old Rus. Historically, kiots were created to protect the pictorial layer from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and soot from lamps, while also serving as independent works of religious art. The architectural design of the kiot with its arched vault and columns symbolizes the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven and the sacred space of the temple. Before the images placed in a kiot, believers traditionally offer prayers for the protection of the home, the granting of peace, the strengthening of spiritual forces, and healing.

The presented digital 3D model is designed for the manufacture of wooden products by milling on CNC machines. The STL format file contains a meticulously detailed relief of architectural elements and ornaments, optimized for work in specialized software environments.
