Imperial coin holder "Ecatherine" (Model 3585) STL

The Imperial coin holder "Ecatherine" (Model 3585) is a complex oval relief composition framed by baroque scrolls, cartouches, and heraldic elements. The upper section features an imperial crown supported by two lions, with a monogram below it. The central axis contains a medallion with a profile image of Empress Catherine II within a laurel wreath, below which a stylized ribbon displays the inscription "Екатерина II" and the dates "1729–1796". Five recessed circular niches for coins are symmetrically arranged around the perimeter of the main field. During the reign of Catherine II, the monetary system of the Russian Empire underwent significant changes: in 1769, the first state assignations (paper money) were introduced into circulation, while copper coins remained the primary means of cash payment for the general population. Suitable for the production of souvenirs, functional decor, thematic interior design, or home furnishings.
