"Parchment Scroll" (Model 3517) STL

The 3D model «Parchment Scroll» (Model 3517) is a relief depiction of an unrolled parchment sheet featuring characteristic frayed edges and vertical winding around wooden rollers with decorative finials. The geometry includes a textured central plane intended for information placement and volumetric cylindrical scroll elements. Historically, parchment was produced from untanned animal skin (primarily calves, sheep, or goats), and its production technique, improved in the 2nd century BC in the Kingdom of Pergamum, allowed materials to be reused by scraping off previous text, known as palimpsests.
